When Joe Barscz accepted a job working for Franklin Steel in 1971 at the age of 17, his intention was to work at the mill for the summer and then move on by fall. Little did he know, he would stay on with the company that became an integral part of his life, until his recent retirement in the spring of 2019. What a long summer it’s been! This hat acknowledges Joe’s commitment to learning the craft of rolling steel into viable products and mastering it to a level that very few have. Our hat’s off to you, Joe!
